I have been using Ubuntu since about Dec05, haven't really looked back since, wireless-networking almost got the better of me, but I managed to pull through. I'm currently teaching myself Python in an attempt to be able to participate more within the community, I have been interested in large scale systems for a number of years now and contributing to Ubuntu just seems like a great way to further this. |

My name's Alex Latchford, I'm a Computer Science student currently in my last year of college, hopefully going off to University next year.
I live in London and primarily work with dynamic web-based applications, PHP/AJAX and the lark. I have been using Ubuntu since about Dec05, haven't really looked back since, wireless-networking almost got the better of me, but I managed to pull through.
I'm currently teaching myself Python in an attempt to be able to participate more within the community, I have been interested in large scale systems for a number of years now and contributing to Ubuntu just seems like a great way to further this.
