La team Algerie à pour but d'introduire GNU/Linux et surtout Ubuntu en Algerie en distribuant des copies, en aidant les gens à migrer et à aider les nouveaux utilisateurs, et dans un second lieu, faire pression sur les pouvoirs publiques pour rendre Ubuntu l'OS de réference sur tous les postes informatiques de l'état et de ses services
