These are open projects that need your help. If you have the time select one and notify any Team Admin and your name will be added to the project.
* Update our Own Cloud to version 8.0. -- COMPLETED.
* Locate a Data center to host our servers.
* Update and maintain AZLOCO forums/team membership and set up notifications as needed -- COMPLETED.
* We have had requests to restart the Servers class. We just need someone to conduct one class per month.
* Create and conduct high school demonstration to interest students in admin/programming fields. We have started talks with Azstrut to assist each other in this area.
* Record Big Blue Button (BBB) sessions (Matterhorn server or ??).
* Locate a Central location in the Phoenix area (easy access for east and west side members). Burton Barr has been suggested. Would anyone like to organize a meeting?
* Link our wiki events/meeting to Ubuntu LoCo Council events calendar.
* Establish a Cafe Press Store to augment the available Ubuntu merchandise available at Canonical. It would offer merchandise with our own team branding on it.
* Maintain and update ubuntu Disqus pages and set up notifications as needed.
* Ubuntu is working to replace the forums with discourse http://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/category-definition-for-ubuntu-arizona/1209 we have a unmaintained page but need it brought up to speed.
* Prepare documentation for the re-validation of the Arizona Local Community (AZLOCO) Team. Re-validation is due midnight 17 September 2015. -- RE-VALIDATION APPLICATION IS AT https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ArizonaTeam/Re-validationApplication2015. COMPLETED - Re-validated on 18 September 2015
* Conduct classes to assist members in applying for Ubuntu Membership.
* Research the requirements to apply for and receive a free server from Ubuntu.
* Establish a link with the California Ubuntu Local Community (CA LOCO) to pool the two state resources to collaborate on activities. (Lower over head and more resources). -- COMPLETED -- LINK ESTABLISHED.
* Offer assistance to the New Mexico LoCo to bring their Team back on line. -- 8 people living in New Mexico have been contacted and email addresses were exchanged. They are progressing toward regenerating their LoCo.
* Update BBB to version 0.9.1 which is now available with webRTC for improved audio.
