Timeline

Releases to 1.0 will be based on approximate percentage of Free Desktop spec icons completed. Releases after 1.0 will be based on parity with the GNOME set.

  • eg:
    • 25% = .25
    • 50% = .50
    • 75% = .75
    • 100% = 1.0 Free Desktop parity
    • 200% = 2.0 GNOME parity

Development Timeline

  • 0.50 - Release to be included with Karmic.


  • 0.55

    • Solidify palette
    • Apply palette/color correction to current icons
    • Shadow/perspective review
    • Base mime added
    • Bug review in prep for release


  • 0.75

    • Bug review in prep for release


  • 1.00 - Release targeted to be included with Karmic+1.

    • Parity with the Free Desktop spec
    • Bug review in prep for release


  • 2.00

    • Parity with the GNOME set of icons
    • Bug review in prep for release


  • 3.00

    • Parity with the ArtLibre spec

    • Bug review in prep for release
