* This is a really nice wallpaper, good work. I liked the branding in the first one and think you should keep the ubuntu branding for the final. Branding should be more important in official wallpapers imo. //Prefix100

* I really like this art! Very pretty. I think that the background, though, is too bleak. The elephant skin, stone, stretched skin canvas looks should really be avoided for a default wallpaper. As mentioned on [[http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=684814|this Ubuntu Forum thread]], it isn't exactly appealing to most. I think the default in Ibex Beta should really be reworked. It would be nice to see a background used similar to Gutsy. If the same background were used, it would allow the GDM theme to remain untouched. I'm not very good at this stuff (also new to this wiki, and probably too late for meaningful input!), but I added my rough mockup remix anyway just as visual.
