Welcome to the Ubuntu Asturian Team!

The Asturian Local Community (LoCo) Team is a group of Asturian speaking volunteers. The team translates, supports and advocates the usage of Ubuntu in Asturian. The official language for this team is Asturian

L'equipu del Loco Team Asturianu ta formáu por un garrapiellu de xente que voluntariamente torna, promueve y sofita l'usu d'Ubuntu y software llibre nel ámbitu d'Asturies.

Oxetivos

• Divulgar Ubuntu y el software llibre en toles estayes, sofitando a quien lu use.
• Contribuyír pa la criación d'un sistema operativu qu'incluya la llingua asturiana, tornando Ubuntu al asturianu dende Launchpad.

¿Cómo divulgar y contribuyir?

• Criando documentación
• Echando un gabitu nos foros/wiki/chat a la xente más nuevo
• Faciendolo too n'asturianu.

¿Por qué divulgar y contribuyir?

• Pol manifiestu d'Ubuntu:
  • Cada usuariu/a debe tener llibertá pa baxar, executar, copiar, distribuir, estudiar, compartir, camudar y meyorar el software pa cualisquier propósitu, ensín pagar drechos de llicencia.
  • Cada usuariu/a debe poder usar el software na so llingua.
  • Cada usuariu/a debe tener toles oportunidaes pa usar el software, incluso con una discapacidá.
• Algamar un sistema operativu n'asturianu, metiendo a la llingua asturianu nel sieglu XXI.
