Weekly Meeting of the New Mexico Ubuntu LoCo

Meeting called to order at 8:00pm by Member David Thomas

Topics Discussed

We talked about the new features of Tribe 5, how the new dual screen set up is a great feature, and the frustrations of setting up screens in general. Next months meeting will be a face to face a meet and greet at the Downtown Flying Star, should be fun members at tonights meeting will be there . Applications we talked about Handbrake a DVD converter, and various HAM radio software among others. The best talk of the night was the discussion of how Comcast is throttling torrents. We also talked about the equipment need for the Software freedom day on Sept 15th.

Meeting adjourned 9:15pm
