Hello, I am Baishampayan Ghose and I am an upcoming Ubuntu/Debian Developer from India. I have been using GNU/Linux for the past eight years and Ubuntu ever since Warty came out. I am also a Working group member of the Free Software Foundation of India. As of now, I don't have many direct contributions to Ubuntu ''per se'', but I am a regular contributor to the Debian project, which I guess percolates down to Ubuntu anyway.
My contributions to Debian & Ubuntu so far are --

 * I am the maintainer of the Bengali (bn) translations to the '''Debian Graphical Installer''' (Since August, 2005)
 * I maintain two Debian packages which are in the main repository, (freetalk & itrans) with more coming up soon [[http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=b.ghose@gnu.org.in]] (Since December 2005)
