Ubuntu-be.org will be present at the Intrepid Release Party, this event will be hosted by computerclub "The Bitmappers" Please ask questions about this activity to the ubuntu-be.org mailing list or on the dutch Ubuntu-forum.

Goals

• Talk about and look at the new Ubuntu version: Intrepid Ibex 8.10
• Meet and greet with computer enthusiasts and members of the Ubuntu community.
• There will be around 20-40 Linux newcomers present who like to learn about Ubuntu.
• Have a good time.

When? Where? What? How?

• Date: November 22nd 2008
• Time: 13.00 Hr
• Place: VOC, A. Rodenbachstraat 18, 3500 Hasselt (Near the Virga Jesse-hospital)

Parking: There is a parking near the Virga Jesse Hospital and near the CC. You must have the blue parking disc (Blauwe parkeerschijf) if you want to park your car on the street.

Food & drinks: available for democratic prices

Internet: hub available for 40 pc's + hotspot connection is possible.

2 - 3 beamers are available, so if you want to show your Compiz desktop on the wall ...

Public Transport: At the railwaystation of Hasselt you can take the H1 Ziekenhuizen bus until you arrive at the busstop Virga-Jesse. From there on it is a small one minute walk across the parking to the VOC building. All the H busses leave from the station every 15 minutes on weekdays and saturday.
