About Me

Hi, My name is Bipul. I am 25 years old lives in india. I am self learner and self motivated person. Recently i have completed my graduation in information and Technology. I am interested in Computer science,mathematics, programming,studying managerial skills,traveling and eating delicious food.

Computer first appeard in my life when i was in class two, i remember the day madam Shalni taught us the basic hardwares of computer with digramatic pictures representation on black board,later on she taken us to school lab to see a real computer. That was in my school lab. After two years when i was in class 4th i used to do programming in ,logo, basics and pascal.I remember myself thinking,that it was the best thing in the world. Then i had got my first PC. I remember the day, i have first installed on my PC with Minix which i got it from Tech magazine.Which made me to dive in the ocean of Linux/open source and Foss. Since it was a small dam linux which was giving me a pain. Then later on i decided to go with Ubuntu and Windows. But later i switch to Ubuntu. Since 2009 to March 2015 I have learn so many things Ubuntu.

Ubuntu

The lowest resource user of the family, designed for those 'older' computers that just cannot manage full on ubuntu. You can find details of it over at about lubuntu. I'm really keen on the project for what it can bring to computers that would otherwise be scrapped. I am a member of the Lubuntu mailing list, and am a firm supporter of their goals for giving us a fully updated version of ubuntu for 'older' computers. My area of concentration was for a non-pae release for lubuntu 14.04 lts that will have 5 year support. This has now been achieved and is being used by various community teams. If you want details, email me, or pop onto the #phillw irc channel. I'm also happily back to testing and helping out with wiki / support. Life is good... I got the first tee-shirt printed with Lenny Awesome work by the team!

If you are interested in helping the development cycle for testing and bug catching,feel free to contribute. Each flavour of the ubuntu family has their own QA / Testing team.

My Current project and goal is to learn more about Unix/Linux.And spread ubuntu amongs my locality.
