We advocate and promote the use of free, open source software, particularly Ubuntu Linux. We're a relatively young group, so getting in touch with the Southern California Open Source community will be exciting. We'd really like to work with local groups to spread Open Source and increase its effectiveness and and market penetration. Our participation will allow for those attendees interested in learning more about Ubuntu to have an opportunity to try it out and see how it may benefit them.
