Welcome to the Ubuntu California wiki!
Ubuntu California is a group of volunteers who advocate and promote Ubuntu and Free Software in California. We attend and plan events statewide, contact and work with LUGs and other local groups, and act as the public face of the Ubuntu community in California. The group is open to everybody in the state with an interest in spreading and discussing Ubuntu.

Natty Narwhal 11.04 was announced April 28. Release notes contain important information and should be read before upgrading or installing.
When downloading 11.04, please use the *.torrent files and mirrors whenever possible. Using these usually increases your download speed.
The Canonical press releases for the PC & business users which have helpful 11.04 overviews. For higher level descriptions, the Canonical Tours of features & business and the release notes.
