Welcome to the California Team wiki! Our goal is to advocate Free Software and spread Ubuntu through as many avenues as possible. We also want to bring open-minded individuals together to share, learn and discuss anything and everything related to Ubuntu.

The Technical Overview of Jaunty Jackolope 9.04 outlines what is about to be released. Jaunty uses the new X.org 1.6 graphics server. If you are running either a proprietary (Nvidia or ATI) binary driver an Intel driver you may wish to wait to upgrade. The launchpad blueprint was used while organizing the release. With one week to go, the Release Candidate and Notes are now available.
