About Me

attachment:IconsPage/PicIRC.png My name is Christer Edwards, 27yrs old, and I have been an Ubuntu user for two years. I am an [http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/newmember Official Ubuntu Member] and founder of the UtahTeam. I am an Internet Business Consultant by trade, but Free Software is my real passion.

I got my first introduction to Free Software about a decade ago with FreeBSD, I tried Red Hat 9, Mandrake, Slackware and finally found my place with Ubuntu when 5.04 was released. I have completely switched since!

I am also an active Team Mentor as part of the USTeams Project, with the primary goal of establishing a community team in each US state by the end of 2007. So far the response has been amazing and I know we'll reach our goal!

I maintain the [http://ubuntu-tutorials.com Ubuntu Tutorials] blog that is now syndicated on the [http://planet.ubuntu.com Ubuntu Planet]. I am also working with volunteers to make sure there is synchronization between the tutorials blog and the [https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ Ubuntu Community Documentation].
