I'm a web designer, graphic designer and eMarketing professional in Greenville, South Carolina and/or Boston, Massachusetts. I've been using *nix for about eight or nine years now. I started off Slackware after being compelled by friends on DarkFire IRC. This lasted quite a while until I switched to Debian and FreeBSD. I still have ongoing, loving relationship with Debian and FreeBSD. I have a few dedicated servers running CentOS 5.0. I guess I'm just a flexible guy. I found Ubuntu about 2 years ago and also have a loving relationship with Ubuntu Linux. I use both Debian and Ubuntu for personal use (for different things, mainly Debian on my production server machine(s) at home). In the past year or so, I've been using Ubuntu mostly all of the time on my workstations (laptops and P.C.) in stable current release and development branch release full-time. I found Ubuntu about 3 years ago and also have a loving relationship with Debian. In the past year or so, I've been using Ubuntu all of the time on my workstations (laptops and P.C.) in stable current release and development branches. I enjoy testing, reporting bugs and giving back to the community through answering questions where I can whether it be on on the forums, launchpad Answers, or just the mailing list (usually ubuntu-users). I also contribute to the apache-devel, apache and mysql mailing lists some in order to help others out.

Me in Brief

About Me

I'm an Internet Marketer in Greenville, South Carolina. I travel a lot, but not as much as I used to (in 2008, but I stayed grounded towards the end of 2008...). I've been using *nix for about nine years now. I started off on Slackware after being compelled by friends on DarkFire IRC. This lasted quite a while until I switched to Debian and FreeBSD. I seemed to love Debian more, but FreeBSD has its places in the server world. I have a few dedicated servers running CentOS 5.0. I guess I'm just a flexible guy. I guess I'm an all-around fan of open source.

I found Ubuntu about 3 years ago and also have a loving relationship with Debian. I use both Debian and Ubuntu for personal use (for different things, mainly Debian on my production server machine(s) at home and server environments).

I began my activity with the Ubuntu Community in early 2007. I officially started the South Carolina US Team after much thought and talk with Eric Lake (etank). I am helping it grow and hope to get it approved as an official LoCo in 2009. Go Team South Carolina!
