In 2000 I installed Debian and really meant it to use it, it was great: finally a Linux distro that was actively maintained and had a working package management. I followed the general discussions, wrote bug reports to Debian and Gnome, advocated Linux in my near environment, became part of the translator group gnome-de.org and active contributor to the UNIX working group at my university. As part of my studies, I developed protosquared (http://protosquared.berlios.de) and (http://libaccustom.berlios.de) - a system to store user preferences on a (very modular and configurable) server. I'm therefore interested in C++ and C. |

Bio & Interests
Since I grew up with computers around me, it seems I was always interested in making things work on computers.
Bio
Long ago I started programming in Pascal, Delphi and Basic. *shudder* Around 1996, I became active in [http://unitopia.de Unitopia] - a MUD where I soon learned LPC (object oriented C obfuscation) and became infected with the OpenSource virus.

Interests
My main interests are
- to help teams flourish in Ubuntu,
- get people involved,
- make ["MOTU"] kick ass!
