DavidGiard
DavidGiard is a New Ubuntu Activist looking forward to becoming an Ubuntu Member. Most of is work is done in the Local User Group of The University of Sherbrooke (http://www.gulus.org) and in the CanadianTeam.
I am currently working to help find financing for the http://gulus.usherbrooke.ca mirror which is now containing a complete Ubuntu mirror.
I have been using Linux since 1994.
Recent Ubuntu Work:
- Translating [ContactingLUGS] to French: [ContacterLesGULS].
- Taking the commitment to contact my Local LUGS.
When i installed breezy, i experienced [http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9160 bug#9160]. A fix was already commited upstream so i have nothing to do except verify if the problem is solved when the next Breezy Iso will come out.
Reported [http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11380 bug #11380].
Added (Working Together) to [http://ubuntu.ca/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu-ca_LUG_Presentation Ubuntu-ca_LUG_Presentation].
I experienced [http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11389 bug #11389] and came up with the same solution (fix postinst path to xkbcomp) but a patch was already created.
Added a French Version to http://ubuntu.ca/wiki/index.php/CD_Insert.
