This page tries to help when debugging Gnash problems in Ubuntu.

Debugging procedure

• Ask for the output of gnash --version.

• If you report bugs upstream, make sure to include

  • the link to the build log, available here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnash

  • information of the build including the sections

    • Configurable options are: and

    • Configured paths for $arch are:

konqueror-plugin-gnash

If problems are related to konqueror-plugin-gnash, ask for the output of about:plugins.
