• Online services team is sprinting this week, and I haven't gotten an update from them yet

• lots of upstream prototyping on applet changes, push hard to find a consent upstream; prepare patches

• upload network-manager applet menu changes for karmic; flash out initial bugs and remove "hearts"

• work on gnome-bluetooth; submit patches upstream that make this work oob for me even if device is powered down
• work with doko on making xulrunner 1.9.1 build on all archs; added fixes and hooks to successfully build on powerpc and sparc; also we tracked down iwlib.h header issue and fixed this

• rebased gtk+, vino, libgweather on recent debian changes
• updated xdg-user-dirs download directory to fix a hundredpapercut bug, the change is upstream too now
• updated the places menu bookmark limit before submenu to 8
• worked on the new gdm to fix several milestoned bugs: strings not being translatable, autologin relogin users, gdm crashing when the log directory is not there, the debconf questions not working in karmic and gdm setup not being translatable
• updated gnome-session to not run compiz with the gconf option
• changed gnome-menus to not list software-store in the system administration category
• updated libgnome default icon theme and cleaned an ubuntu specific touchpad change no required in karmic
• updated notify-osd in karmic
• backported gstreamer upstream changes to fix easy codec installation
• changed bluez audiosink ranking to not hijack the easy codec installation
• updated launchpad-integration to use the correct launchpad urls and not redirections
• backported a papyon git change to fix a crasher
• updated xdg-user-dirs to the newer version which use the updated download dir and has updated translations
• did some tweaking to the indicator launchers changes in evolution-indicator empathy and pidgin before sponsoring those
• updated gnome-menus for the software-store rename
• updated piding to recommends pidgin-libnotify and rebuilt it once promoted to get translations correctly set
• looked to an indicator-session crasher with ted
• looked to the notify-osd crasher for mirco, got several valgrind logs and tried updates
• looked to some translation issues
• backported gtk+ changes to fix f-spot csw issues and a crash in the background capplet
• backported an indicator-session fix for the crash at session start issue
• updated gdm to set a custom theme to the login screen

Tony Espy (awe)

• Attended Wireless Mini-Summit in Portland, OR.
• Camped out with the Kernel Team during the Kernel Sprint.
• Worked on backporting mac80211 background scanning improvements from the
  • wireless-testing tree. Had to do a bit of fixup to get them to apply and build on top of the latest karmic. No testing done yet.
• Attended Plumber's Conference, also in Portland.
• Reviewed new network-manager applet with upstream while @ Plumber's.

Till Kamppeter (tkamppeter)

• Patched USB backend of CUPS to support both printer access via the usblp kernel module (/dev/usb/lp*) and low-level USB (libusb). This fixes tones of problems reported on Launchpad recently. Posted also an upstream feature request for the patch: http://www.cups.org/str.php?L3357

• Some small fixes in system-config-printer, bugs which got introduced with last week's patches.
• Answered and triaged printing-related bugs.
