About Me
I'm Dmitry Shachnev (mitya57), and this is my wiki page. Currently I'm student at Moscow University, department of Mathematics and Mechanics.
I use Ubuntu since version 7.10 (gutsy).
I'm author of such apps as ReText and Unity Mail.

Here are my areas of interest:
Bugs triaging (I'm member of UbuntuBugControl) and fixing;
Translating (I'm member of UbuntuRussianTranslators team);
Maintaining of my packages (currently python-gdata, python-markdown, retext, unity-mail, mathjax);
- Helping out with other Python-related packages;
Helping with the PackagingGuide (I've written the "Python packaging" section, for example);
I'm member of Debian Python Modules and Applications teams.
