Ubuntu EL Salvador and...

...Education

Elementary education: We have projects such as the International Baptist College Free software that teaches children from kindergarten through programs such as Tuxpaint, GCompris, Cildsplay, etc. helping the goal we've always had is to improve the educational level of our country and took 4 years to this project

Educación Media:

Higher education: In this area we like in the other slowly changing with lectures and group creation of free software in different educational institutions of our country. is difficult at times but we're working on it without ever losing the main objective is to bring knowledge and access of worldwide technology.

...Government

Ubuntu is a reality today in the public sector. The local Government acknowledges and seeks the expertise of our community members. Several members from the Ubuntu Nicaragua LoCo Team are currently working deploying and giving support to a large number of Ubuntu workstations and servers, and training Ubuntu desktop users in major El Salvador public institutions.
