Items or resources needed

The next action date for the EPC project is 3/1/08 Items on the agenda include the following.

• More memory to upgrade the computers to at least 512Mb (1 remaining need + 256Mb RDRAM pc800)

• Set up printer and scan station (completed gcleric)

• Upgrade all lab PC's to Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron) (currently scheduled for 12/20 & 21/08)

• Test all systems

• Secure cable runs (completed gcleric)

• Disable some ttyX virtual terminals on PC's to save memory.

  • - create directory /etc/disabled_eventd
    - mv tty6 thru tty3 from /etc/evenet.d/ to /etc/disabled_eventd
