| I've been an Ubuntu user since Dapper where I took the jump after dual booting between Debian and Windows for a while, and never looked back (never needed to either). I have been active in the Ubuntu community for over a year in every possible way my time and experience has allowed me. |

| * Helped out getting UbuntuWeeklyNewsletter out for the past months, and I've taken over as editor for the last 3: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-news/2007-March/thread.html * I'm actively helping out in the MarketingTeam with php coding for the DIY webpage (and eventually spreadubuntu), getting the UbuntuWeeklyNewsletter, out every week, and generally trying to pitch in wherever needed. * I've help put together the Herd release information: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/herd2, http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/herd3 and http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/herd4 * I have successfully founded and currently lead the Argentina LoCo team, with which we have accomplished a lot in translations (UWN's and Rosetta), support a large amount of spanish speaking users in Ubuntuforums and introduced many new users to Ubuntu. The Argentina LoCo is probably what takes up most of my time. * Created and moderating the Argentina sub-forum in Ubuntuforums [http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=189] * Created and moderating the mailing list [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-ar] * I also handle the Ubuntu Stickers distribution in Argentina which System76 provides, sending them all over the country and making sure big projects that use Ubuntu get the stickers and LiveCDs to distribute. I have also sent them to Chile and Spain LoCo's. * Translations to Spanish (official Spanish Translator) and some Wiki pages to Spanish. Working together with the ubuntu-es team to get a proper setup for documentation in Spanish available. |
* I have join the Argentina LoCo team, with which we have accomplished a lot in translations (UWN's and Rosetta), and introduced many new users to Ubuntu. * I have translated several pages about Ubuntu, like http://www.eternal1.com.ar/ubuntu, http://www.chaumicrosoft.com.ar, hhtp://www.porquelinuxesmejor.com.ar |

| The thing I probably enjoyed the most is introducing users to Ubuntu, mainly non-Linux users by installing it on their systems and walking them through the adaptation process until they get used to the new environment. I take notes on what problems users bump into and try to get the message through to developers via the forums, IRC or bug tracking. |

The thing I probably enjoyed the most is introducing users to Ubuntu.
What I want to do
Making the Argentina LoCo team grow as much and as healthy as possible, and eventually get it officially approved.
- Playing around with the latest "in production" Ubuntu to help squash bugs before release and help users get through the upgrade process easier.
- Translating in Rosetta
