• We wrote a wikibook 'Ubuntu tutuksi' (Get to know Ubuntu) to make it easy for beginners to start with Ubuntu

• Close co-operation with COSS, the Finnish Center for Open Source Solutions, for example our Team Contact is one of the referees in 'Ubuntu Challenge' programming competition

• Supporting schools in LTSP clusters by organizing LTPS workshops: 2009, 2009_2

• Mailed Ubuntu CDs with a letter to members of Finnish parliament in 2007. Press release in blog, press release in English.

• Release parties of variable sizes. - LTS-releases with proper spaces and up to hundreds of visitors, smaller releases celebrated with cafe meetings. 10.04 LTS 8.04 LTS, 7.04

• Close co-operation with LUGs around the country, as well as linux.fi wiki

• Ubuntu Finland itself was awarded the "Linux-tekijä 2008" main award in 2008 press release, UWN Issue 90. The prize money has been used to print Ubuntu CDs and promotional material for release parties and other events. The award was handed over by the Finnish Minister of Communications.

• Started LinuCast, a Linux-podcast in 2007, which was honored with the "Linux-tekijä 2009" title - Spinned off in 2009, currently the only Linux-podcast in Finland.

• Designing and ordering Ubuntu T-shirts, photo

• We have created Ubuntu Finnish Remix that has full Finnish language support without Internet connection

• Mirv / Jyrinki, our past team contact, has done work for all language groups in general by reporting and/or fixing I18N problems
