Italian Team - Media Relations Coordinator

Founder and coordinator of Media Relations project

The Media Relations Project's aim is reach the foremost part of new media and traditional ones like newspaper, magazines and tv, to spread the spirit of Ubuntu beyond trade magazines in Italy.

Media Relations Team takes care of sending a press release for each Ubuntu release and Italian Community events.

My Involvement in Ubuntu

• I met Ubuntu in 2007, my first distibution has been 7.04. I immediatly begun collaborating in Italian localization team and in Full Circle Magazine translation team.
• I'm member of Marketing team and:
  • I partecipated to Ubuntu Meeting in Siena (where I had a talk about Full Circle Magazine translations team) and in Cesenatico.
  • I had a talk in 2008 Linux day in Lucca, where I presented Ubuntu and his community.

  • I'm speaker for Screencast project (this is a promo)

• Since February 2008 I'm member of Italian Loco Team
• Recently I joined the Ubuntu Women team, because I hope to help female's part of Ubuntu users to be more active. I'm evaluating the possibility to open an UW -it LP team, according to International one.
