Welcome to the Ubuntu Galician Team! The Galician Local Community (LoCo) Team is a group of Galician speaking volunteers. The team translates, supports and advocates the usage of Ubuntu in Galician. The official language for this team is Galician

What We Do
- Support Ubuntu locally
Partner with local computer user groups to assist with GNU/Linux and other free and open source software (FLOSS) events
- Hold educational sessions open to the public
- Host and assist with GNU/Linux install fests
- Support Ubuntu at the state level
- Assist New York State Ubuntu users with finding:
- Local GNU/Linux groups
- Local computer retailers that support Ubuntu and GNU/Linux
- Assist New York State Ubuntu users with finding:
- Ubuntu Activism
- Advocate for the adoption of Ubuntu:
- Individual users and families
- Schools
- Libraries
- Businesses
- Senior centers
- Assist local computer retailers with adopting Ubuntu
- Educate local computer retailers and consultants about Canonical partner programs
- Advocate for the adoption of Ubuntu:
- Assist our members grow in the global Ubuntu community
- Help our members find Ubuntu teams that align with their personal interests
