George V. Reilly is an experienced software developer. He has lived in Seattle for many years. He used to work for Microsoft, mostly on the IIS development team, but is all better now. He runs Kubuntu at home, but Windows continues to pay the bills. He dual-booted Linux for a year or so in the mid-nineties, then drifted away, coming back to Linux in mid-2006. He is a longtime contributor to Vim VimHowto, notably the Win32 console mode port.
