Installed Ubuntu 6.06 on the Intel D845EBG2 with no problems.  Connected to the internet immediately and put monitor in high resolution.  I forgot to check the sound and will the next time I boot the system.  I will edit this soon.  Any questions email Dave:  info@wolfland.net.
