Infobots

The main infobot is called ubotu. He is owned and operated by cafuego. This bot contains the facts database and is active in #ubuntu. Details on how to operate him can be found on the UbotuUsage page. The fact database can be found on http://ubuntu.cc.com.au

The second infobot is Ubugtu and is only active in #ubuntu-{desktop,devel,bugs,motu}, #bzr and #launchpad where he listens for bugzilla/malone/debbugs urls and bugnumbers and will give info about the requested bugs.

Registration

[http://launchpad.net/people/ubuntumembers Ubuntu members] with [http://www.freenode.net/faq.shtml#nicksetup registered nicknames] can get an Ubuntu hostname cloak. If you want such a cloak, contact Dennis Kaarsemaker (Seveas on freenode, dennis@ubuntu.com) to get one.

Operators

The current list of IRC operators for the main rooms can be found at [:IRCOperators: IRCOperators]. Operators can help you if there is a problem or disturbance in the channel.
