I've used Debian for years, and I'm very pleased with Ubuntu. I've passed out all my copies of Hoary, so I'm really looking forward to getting in the breezy CD's.
Current Interests
Chess for Linux, especially for 10 - 15 year olds. Something like ChessMaster would be great. Running under Wine would be acceptable. (ChessMaster 7000 doesn't, and I haven't found any reports of any version of ChessMaster that does.)
- Recent versions of Wine. I compiled Wine 20050930 for Hoary. If anyone is interested I can write about it, or make the package file available.
Improved printing for HP DeskJet 870C. Margins, fonts and colors are troublesome.
- I'd like to see an Ubuntu users group in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
- Making the PPP dialer respect the modem sound setting. (Put the bug number here.)
