| Simply I'd like to testify how an ordinary user can give a good contribution to the whole community. About me
Hi, I'm Jeremie Tamburini, I was born in 76 in Pisa (Italy) and... I'm just an ordinary computer user.
I started to use GNU/Linux systems in April 2006 and I met Ubuntu in May (love at first sight). I have chosen this distribution basically for the big documentation in Italian language available on www.ubuntu-it.org. This has made my first steps in the GNU/Linux environment incredibly easy. Wiki-pages and forum are an infinite source of knowledge.
I really enjoy to follow the Italian forum. I have always tried (when possible) to help other users in trouble. Also, I started to write wiki-pages, definitely the thing that I prefer to do!!
Finally (December 2006), I have joined the Italian forum staff as a moderator of the forum... so now I'm an Ubuntero.
Simply I'd like to testify how an ordinary user can give a good contribution to the whole community. Everyone who likes to spend some hours of his own spare time following the “life” around the Ubuntu community, can give his contribution. It doesn't matter to be or not to be a hacker. There are several levels of knowledge and all of them are important.
Overall I would like to point out the big lesson that Free Software has given to the World. Sharing the knowledge makes our planet a better place where to live.
Ciao ciao!
