I am from the Philippines. I have found the Ubuntu community to be one of the most active and aggressive in pushing GNU/Linux as a platform of choice for everyday computing.

I am a member of the Ubuntu DocumentationTeam. Check out the project update page at DocteamProjects (this might not be that accurate anymore, please go to http://doc.ubuntu.com instead).

I also serve as part of the Edubuntu Council.

If you're subscribed in the [http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-doc ubuntu-doc mailing list] and having problems with it, tell me so (I'm one of the list owners)! I can check and see what's needs to be done.

I'm also involved with a book project for [http://www.manning.com Manning Publications] focusing on Ubuntu Server. I am writing it along with my co-authors MattGalvin and JeffSchering.

Upcoming talks and trips (planned and confirmed)

None planned for now!

Thanks for all the fish (past talks and trips)
