I am from the Philippines. I have found the Ubuntu community to be one of the most active and aggressive in pushing Linux as a platform of choice for everday computing.

I am an active member of the Ubuntu DocumentationTeam. Check out our project update page at DocteamProjects.

Also, I currently serve as DocumentationTeam Secretary - that means tons of housekeeping for the team which involves regular meetings, coordination with other Ubuntu teams, wiki work, svn work, and more!
