A conservative Christian out of Atlanta, Georgia, I am a homeschooled high school senior, Eagle Scout, and volunteer for the Ubuntu project. My interests include practically anything technology and the outdoors.

Why I chose Ubuntu

I first ran into Ubuntu because of one of my friends testing it out gave me a CD. I tried it on one of my older computers, believing that Linux was old, ugly, and just a toy. After trying it out for a few weeks, I really started to enjoy it. I finally installed it on my main computer, my laptop -- and I have not looked back!

My Ubuntu Involvement

Ubuntu Georgia LoCo

I am the Team Coordinator for the Ubuntu Georgia Local Community Team (LoCo for short). I coordinate meetings and other events, and also work as a "Jon of all trades," working on the web site, editing the wiki, and creating material and promoting Ubuntu through marketing.

BugSquad

I help out sorting the thousands of bugs submitted by users, looking for duplicates, "it's a feature not a bug" cases, and real bugs which will be a concern to developers.

REVU Uploaders

I am working on getting the OpenProj application into the Ubuntu repositories. Currently, I am awaiting the repositories to open for Ubuntu 9.04.
