I discovered Linux and Ubuntu online. I originally downloaded Linux Mint reading that it was easier for beginners, then experimented with many distributions including Arch Linux before choosing Ubuntu 8.10. I've stuck with Ubuntu ever since.

Although I am not professionally involved in IT I am familiar with several programming and markup languages including: Python, Bash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby. I can also create basic SVG images in Inkscape.

My focus has slowly moved from Ubuntu Forums to Launchpad over the years.
