I hope to one day be a part of the wonderful MOTU team which has welcomed me (and my stupid questions :D ) excellently. I recently became a MOTU Mentoree - I hope I can learn a lot from my mentor (Emmet Hikory - persia on IRC) and hopefully attain MOTU-ship soon - within the Hardy release cycle. I enjoy being part of the Ubuntu studio team working towards the gutsy release. However, I do want to continue to be more involved in the Ubuntu community as my skills improve. This release I plan to package a few more programs that are as yet unpackaged. I also hope to participate in bug fixing where ever I can. I have 2 packages earmarked for packaging at the moment, both related to Ubuntu Studio - Xjadeo and PhaseX. I hope to have these and others ready in the Hardy release cycle. I want to continue to contribute where I can to IRC - in my mind this is one of the most important support areas of Ubuntu as it provides realtime support and enables users to fix problems quickly. This vastly improves the user experience and that is one of the key things I am aiming for.
