Katapult is an item launcher for KDE, similar to Quicksilver of MacOS X. This page is used by Kubuntu developers, who want to keep this project alive.

 * KAddressbook plugin to search the contacts (send e-mail to..., show details for...)
 * Use Kimproxy to search contacts in kopete/konversation (start chat with...) 
 * spellchecker (type in spell:foo and is reports if it's the correct spelling or no)
 * dictionary and thesaurus (type dict:foo and it gives you definitions like ''dict'' command)
 * web shortcuts (import from konqueror? this could replace spell: and dict:)
 * protocols (support protocols from konqueror, e.g. ftp:/ftp.blah.com launches konqueror with this URL.)
 * Konqueror history
