Specs:

  • Lucid Lenny 10.04 (LTS) 64-bit
  • Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5300 (1.73GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)

  • 15.4 Inch UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen WSXGA+ (1680×1050 resolution)

  • 4GB-DDR2-800MHz, Chipset limitations cap usable at 3.2GB (shipped with:512MB, DDR2, 533MHz (2×256MB))

  • 256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 w/TurboCache

  • 250GB 5400RPM SATA HD
  • 8X DVD+/-RW Drive
  • Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Mini Card (54Mbps)
  • 85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (Dead, eBay replacement also failed)

Uses:

  • Everyday workstation

  • Lucid Lenny 10.04 (LTS) 64-bit
  • Intel Atom D510 (1.66GHz/Dual-core w/HyperThreading)
  • NM10 Chipset
  • 2x1GB DDR2 (System max of 2x2GB, but no need at this point - may swap with the E1505N if I need more)
  • 80GB? boot volume
  • 750GB data volume
  • 10/100/1000 NIC

Uses:

  • Debmirror - to host a local mirror (Lenny i386,amd64 currently)

  • Automated backups of home PCs - the other Ubuntu machines, will be adding in my Windows 7 desktop machine.
