Other Release Tasks: Lucid Audio Support (bjf)

I've submitted a patch to increase the size of preallocated buffers which is supposed to help with users audio experience. This has been in Fedora for since 11. Also, I have c-o-d pretty well working for karmic. I'll be turning it on today. I was having some build issues in Lucid chroot since Alpha 1 which I need to work through and get it turned on as well.

Other Release Tasks: Lucid Better Power Mgt (amitk)

Nothing new here.

Other Release Tasks: EC2 Lucid Kernel Status (jjohansen)

I did smoke testing on the rebase, and karmic kernels and poked at a few config options, and spent some time looking at Bug #494595.

Status: Lucid (apw)

Pushed a big update for Lucid following the lifting of the Alpha-1 freeze. Of note AppArmor has been updated to match the mainline version, most ubuntu drivers are now updated to current versions, plus ATI Radeon KMS is now the default. We also pushed a few performance changes which seem to have gained somewhat over .5s from boot. Also stable 2.6.32.y started producing updates, (a major heap of ext4 updates) is committed ready for the next upload.

Incoming Bugs: Bug day report (ogasawara)

We weren't very active last tues, current stats are at: http://qa.ubuntu.com/reports/ogasawara/kernel-bugday/20091208.html Next Bug should land on the 22nd, however I think it won't get much traction being so close to the holiday. Rather than cancel it altogether, I think I'd rather retarget the same topic from last week. I'll send email.
