== What was done engineering wise? == * We've rebased the Quantal kernel to upstream v3.4 final and uploaded. This upload collapses the -virtual flavor, reinstates the i386 generic flavor, and transitions the i386 generic-pae flavor to the generic flavor. We've also homogenized the entire linux-meta package and removed the non-smp powerpc meta package as it was made obsolete in Precise. |

=== What was done engineering wise? === We uploaded the 3.5.0-14.16 Quantal kernel. This upload contained updates for the mei driver, resolves misc touchpad regressions, and included misc bug fixes for the apple-gmux driver. As usual, we uploaded this kernel to the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to facilitate testing of the 12.10 kernel in 12.04. Please test and let us know your results. |
