We uploaded the 3.5.0-15.[20-22] Quantal kernels. These uploads contained
an update to the v3.5.4 upstream stable kernel, eCryptfs bug fixes, Haswell
graphics support patches, an updated and re-enabled aufs, i915 backlight
control fixes, and Cypress PS/2 trackpad tap-to-click fixes. As usual, we
uploaded these kernels to the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to
facilitate testing of the 12.10 kernel in 12.04. Please test and let us
know your results.
We intend to upload the 3.5.0-16.24 Quantal kernel by EOW. This upload
most notably will contain upstream Haswell audio patches, disablement of
problematic experimental Cirrus QEMU drm and ast drm drivers, an
upstream efi handover protocol patch, an IRQ stack overflow bug fix for
AppArmor, and other misc bug fixes. As usual, we intend to upload this
kernel to the ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/q-lts-backport PPA to facilitate testing
of the 12.10 kernel in 12.04. Please test and let us know your results.
