What was done engineering wise?
Last week we uploaded the 3.4.0-3.8 Quantal kernel which was based on the final v3.4 upstream kernel. This upload also included an updated AppArmor patch set, misc config updates, and bug fixes. We've continued to homogenize the Quantal kernel config this week and will intend to upload these latest changes no later than Monday. This upcoming upload will be what we intend to ship for the Alpha-1 release.
We are above the trend line for our Alpha-1 burn down chart and a few items will be deferred to the Alpha-2 milestone.
What's about to land that might impact the other teams and release as a whole?
We anticipate the upstream v3.5-rc1 kernel to release relatively soon. We will hold uploading a v3.5 based kernel until after the Alpha-1 milestone.
