This is the organisation site for the kubuntu booth at the LinuxTag2006. kubuntu have a booth with ubuntu community and edubuntu.

is at the booth. but only on cable. so we have to share it

2.5.2006 02. 7 am. – 10 pm.

When is "dismantle-time"?

06.05.2006, 6 pm - 10 pm.

Opening hours for booth staff?

Wednesday 03.05.2006 7 am. – 6 pm, Thursday - Saturday, 04.- 06.05.2006 8.am - 6 pm.

What about business cards? If yes: Who is taking care of their print? Design is made / Print ?

What about name badges?

yes there are little rooms in the hall and a extra stuff hall

Ideas / Problems / Activities

Speech about Kubuntu

maybe Raphink?

maybe some little presentations at our booth? (Beamer needed – of one's own? or to rent?) IF YES: who, when and about what? AND: hang out a list with the subjects

Cashbox for donations (for payment of travel costs / accomodations – if in case of profit e.g. for next event)

If there are not enough shipit-CDs: look for a sponsor

Dresscode? Do we have kubuntu-pins or something?

polo shirt with Dapper T-shirt OR business dresscode

Booth Staff wears stickers or buttons with languages one is able to speak

Prepare PCs with a standard user. Password must be known be all the booth staff.

We should prepare some standard answers to certain questions (e.g. why the kubuntu site was down)

After the event: write summary and post it to mailing lists, website, wiki and blogs – if possible with fotos (best with a foto of all the events team)
