  • CPU: Celeron-M (insert p4_clockmod module and run cpufreqd to get this working). Certain models of this laptop use the Amd Turion 64 chip. This works out of the box.
  • Battery: About 3 hours with speedstep
  • Wireless: Broadcom (using bcmwl5 drivers via ndiswrapper) or Restricted Drivers (in Gutsy)
  • This model does not include a built-in cardreader. On models with the card-reader, in Fiesty and Gutsy, it works.
  • Ram: Base Config is 512 MB, my config is 2048 MB.

PaulSladen: does "No cardreader" mean that the laptop doesn't have one/any. Or that there is one that isn't working?

MattKirchhoff2: It doesn't have one; certain versions of this model do. It's my understanding that these 6-in-1 readers do *not* work with Breezy, but I can't test this.

Notes

On some of these laptops, it appears 32bit cardbus devices can't be read. If this problem shows, try adding a boot paramater of pci=assign-busses.
