• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon): Cannot switch to text-only screen/console (Ctrl+Alt+F1), screen shows blank. This happened when booted with external monitor connected; I don't know if this was the problem.

Correct resolution

The 1280x800 LCD resolution in a so small LCD (11.5") causes the desktop elements to be shown so small. If you reduce the resolution (for example to 1024x768), the image doesn't fit correctly in the LCD pixels array. This is a hardware issue, not specific to any software.

Battery detected

• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon): Only detects the presence of a battery, but doesn't read the state nor charge.
• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04 (Hardy Heron): Only detects the presence of a battery, but doesn't read the state nor charge.
• Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex): Only detects the presence of a battery, but doesn't read the state nor charge.

Suspends
