SamsungP560-Pro

Current Issues

  • Some Fn-Keys do not work (#355542, #338182).

  • Laptop does not shutdown properly when usplash is active. A workaround ist to switch to another console with Strg + Alt + F1 during shutdown. (solved with Ubuntu 9.10)

  • After a reboot the Laptop hangs at BIOS screen (took about 2 minutes then boots) - FIX: manually remove ricoh_mmc module.)

  • Brightness keys do not work (#338173). A workaround is to use smartdimmer [2].

  • Ambient light sensor does not work.
  • Some Models with 4GB of RAM probably need the kernel option mem=4096M (#272530).
