Placement in /etc/mkinitramfs/DSDT.aml makes sure it gets placed in every new kernel's initrd. Special buttons 74 and 75 were set to 127 and 129 and then mapped to XF86AudioPlay and XF86AudioNext (These Samsung keys were recently added to hotkey-setup; the mapping to browser and E-Mail are a little useless though). === Resources === HARDWARE Samsung X30 WVC 1500 - Gentoo Linux Wiki Archlinux on Samsung X30 debianforum.de HowTo - Debian auf Samsung X30 WVC 1500 Gentoo Forums HOWTO: Fix Common ACPI Problems (DSDT, ECDT, etc.) Samsung X30 under MandrakeLinux 10.1 Gentoo Forums Samsung X30 laptop doesn't wake up from acpi s3 sleep mode..
