sudo apt-get install lighttpd php5
edit the config file /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf and add the line
#include "mod_fastcgi.conf"
now add the file /etc/lighttpd/mod_fastcgi.conf
server.modules += ("mod_fastcgi") fastcgi.server = ( ".php" => ( "localhost" => ( "host" => "127.0.0.1", "port" => 1026, "bin-path" => "/usr/bin/php-cgi" ) ) )
