So..I've created a small partition for it, and....the small partition now it's growed to 70 % of my hard disk :) The philosophy of this distribution, the great work for communities from all the world, the spirit that Ubuntu hands on the users, the unstoppable development of its team, its encouraging parallelism with Debian, and much more things makes Ubuntu my distribution par excellence. It's the right trade-off between simplicity and stabilty. So...I know that these words are the same for many people...and maybe someone thinks that these are obvious remarks...but I really think that. So..the future. Well...who knows the future?Next to nothing, I believe :) ...but I know that Ubuntu will have a great future, and will turn into one of the greatest antagonist for the next version of MS Windows. I think, and I hope this too. About the future...well...who knows the future?Next to nothing, '''I believe''' :) ... but I know thtat Ubuntu is already a great OS, and it's already at the first place between other distributions. So, I think that with its unstoppable development, Ubuntu will join the "power elite" of Desktop OS in the business field, too, and I hope that will be a great competitor of new Microsoft OS, in the next year. This means that I don't want a "business model" of Ubuntu, but that I want that people open their eyes and that will take the "Open Source" way, without give up easy of use, and with many improvement, in the economic side, too.

I've written the program Wiki_UbuntuToUbuntuIt (in python), to convert Italian pages from this wiki to Italian wiki (http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org): takes care to rename pages, fix links in each page, etc... BRBR I'm very happy to help users on #ubuntu-it channel, sometimes #ubuntu, too, and forum if I can.

Me and Ubuntu

After a few years with Debian, I've read something about Ubuntu. I have to be honest...the name "Warthy Warthog" has immediately make a hit! Smile :) So..I've created a small partition for it, and....the small partition now it's growed to 70 % of my hard disk Smile :) The philosophy of this distribution, the great work for communities from all the world, the spirit that Ubuntu hands on the users, the unstoppable development of its team, its encouraging parallelism with Debian, and much more things makes Ubuntu my distribution par excellence. It's the right trade-off between simplicity and stabilty. BR About the future...well...who knows the future?Next to nothing, I believe Smile :) ... but I know thtat Ubuntu is already a great OS, and it's already at the first place between other distributions.
