You have been a MOTU Hopeful for a while now, and would like to become a MOTU ?

• First, you have to become an Ubuntu Member. Follow the [http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/newmember/ process described here] and on ["CommunityCouncilAgenda"].

• Then, you have to become a Universe Maintainer. Follow the steps in ["MaintainerCandidates"] and ["TechnicalBoardAgenda"].

• Finally, join the MOTU team

To become an Ubuntu Member, you'll have to list your work as a MOTU (merges, syncs, bug fixing, etc) on your wiki homepage. Doing so from the start will probably help! Ask other MOTUs or MOTU Hopefuls for examples if needed.
